Meet the Staff

Laurel Creech: Team Green Director Laurel Creech

Laurel Creech is the creator and Director of Team Green. She establishes all event partnership and sponsorship opportunities for Team Green. As an employee of Lightning 100, Laurel started Team Green in 1997 as a venture to get listeners and the community into the outdoors. Since its inception, Team Green has over 1200 members, 5,000 participants, and over 250 events per year. Laurel remains the director of all events and voices all commercial radio spots. Laurel also serves on many environmental boards including Mayor Dean’s Green Ribbon Committee, Nashville Clean Water Project, Nashville’s Earth Day Festival, Cumberland River Compact, Cumberland Region Tomorrow, and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Music City Moves as well as advising the Mayor’s Office and Metro Parks & Greenways on development projects and events. In August 2007 Laurel was selected as the winner for the Chamber of Commerce’s Nashville Emerging Leader’s award in community service and non-profit work. She is also a graduate of the Young Leader’s Council (YLC) and awarded the Metro Public Health Department ‘s Community Public Health Hero of the Year and Mike Curb’s Achievement in Radio Award for Outstanding Community Service. Keeley Reed:: Event Coordinator

Keeley Reed is the Programs and Events Coordinator for Team Green, Lightning 100 and Music Business Radio. Keeley updates the Team Green website, responds to all response forms concerning event postings and membership benefits, coordinates event participation and logistics, and attends the events and promotional booths. She became involved with Team Green through her experience as assistant organizer of the Nashville Hiking Meetup. As event coordinator, Keeley assists Laurel in creating and leading events, voicing radio spots, and promoting Team Green.
